The project
The Multimedia Campus project consists in creating a network of companies that operate as digital publishers for some Italian universities.
First step of the project has been the constitution of Multimedia Campus - Università di Pavia, a capital company

The project
The Multimedia Campus project consists in creating a network of companies that operate as digital publishers for some Italian universities.

- controlled by Opera Multimedia, to simplify internal procedures
- with Pasvim as financial partner
Objective: the rationalisation of e-learning and multimedia publishing activities in the universities.
Multimedia Campus Activities
- Spin-off and rationalisation of e-learning and multimedia publishing activities in the universities, especially
- distribution of basic educational contents (e.g. English and ECDL) to all the students
- digitalisation of graduate and post-graduate courses, so that they can be distributed at a distance
- communication and distribution of multimedia contents on the external market
- Fund raising, especially participation in research projects financed by Italian Ministries, Regions or the European Union
- Possible outsourcing of the universities' IT facilities (e.g. multimedia classrooms)
- Managing of Learning@home projects, that organise the distribution of PCs to students
- Sole interlocutor for all the projects that have an e-learning component, both for contents and technologies
- Simplification of the relationship with the partner, thanks to the elimination of the inelasticity found in the customer-supplier relationships. You will not have to monitor accesses to the courses any longer, since licenses will be unlimited
- Exploitation of universities' contents by people different from local students
- Strengthening of fund-raising activities and expediting of administrative procedures to obtain financial support
- Creation of job opportunities for university students and researchers in the new companies
