E-learning without barriers
On May 23rd the international conference “E-learning without barriers” on e-learning accessibility has been held in Dueren (Germany). Organised and hosted by BFW-Dueren, a highly specialised centre which works in the field of education and rehabilitation of blind people, the conference has gathered the contributions of the European organizations more active in the field of innovative practices for training people affected by disabilities. The event has presented projects carried out by 19 organizations active in 11 different member countries of the European Union.
A presentation has been dedicated to eYES, the project led by Multimedia Campus which aims at developing an e-learning system accessible to visually impaired users, and to AHVITED the project focusing on distance learning where Multimedia Campus is responsible for the production of all graphical contents.
