Established in 1993 as the first digital publishing house in Italy, Opera Multimedia is a multimedia publisher specialised in e-learning.
Main areas of activity are:
- Design and production of multimedia contents, online and on CD-ROM
- Provisioning of e-learning programmes to corporate/academic clients, through its own Learning Management System, which allows a complete tracking of all activities performed online by students
- Research in the field of e-learning accessibility and open-source platforms
- Research of innovative training methodologies, such as Podcasting for education
- Online tutoring

- eContent Award 2006 in the eLearning category, to the multimedia English course jointly created with British Institutes
- European Label 2006 to Credit Line, the online English course for Banking and Finance
- European Label 2004 assigned to the multimedia English course jointly created with British Institutes
