Specialised training programme
The Art of Publishing is a specialised training programme supported by the Culture 2000 programme of the European Union.
The training programme course will provide students with online training in the field of publishing, giving them the skills required to work in publishing, with a specific focus on multimedia publishing.
Courses are accessible 24 hours a day, through an internet connection.
An online tutor is available to assist all students.
The programme is available in Italian, English, German and Greek.
After completing the programme students will receive a Certificate of Attendance awarded by Opera Multimedia (Italy), Danube University Krems (Austria) and University of Thessaly (Greece).
Curriculum
The idea behind the course’s curriculum is to provide students with know-how about the publishing work, and of main issues related to rights protection (Modules 1-3). Then, the programme will focus on very specific competencies related to writing techniques and communication tools that are used in the publishing industry (Modules 4-8). The final part of the programme will focus on multimedia publishing (Module 9).

Students will be given username and password in order to access a reserved area where multimedia contents will be made available. An hyper-textual index will guide students through the different materials, explaining objectives and contents of each unit.
